The Great Interviews
 The Great Interviews of '72
Here are a couple of files converted from an old audio tape I found in the loft.
They feature Chris Bradbury (Brads) (grhs), Robert Hicks, Steven Clarke, Jane Oldfield and Myself conducting some interviews with visitors to Bakewell Market on August Bank Holiday in 1972.
I have to admit we pretended to be working on behalf of Radio Sheffield (we were only young) and asked folk what they thought of Bakewell and the market.
Some of the results are cracking entertainment as we obviously had no idea what we were doing.
1: Brads and Hicksy  (17minutes)
2: Steve Clarke, Jane and Me  (4 minutes)

 The Great Interviews of '82
Ten years after the first lot of interviews we did with audio only, I thought it would be an idea to do something similar with a video camera. So armed with the latest technology, Myself (operating the camera), Andy Stuart and Yasmin Gleeson approached various members of the general public to ask them for their opinions on Bakewell. This time however there was a twist, we decided to make it more interesting by doing bizarre things during each interview like twisting the conversation round to them interviewing us  then walking off leaving them holding the mike.
This sort of stuff is common place on TV nowadays, but this was 1982 so people were taken in somewhat easier than they would be now.
Anyway here is a sample of what we did.
